MXO University
Mxoism 101 Ep|1
Hey, it’s your online big sister here.
If you’re getting this email, it means you officially have a scholarship to MXO University, and you’re now part of the inner circle.
Welcome, Baby Sis!.
This newsletter is where I’ll be giving you the latest tea and showing up for you with tips on everything, no gatekeeping.
I don’t like starting with a shade, but this is important. I got the MCo beauty concealer in the darkest shade, and when I wanted to try it … chai
It wasn’t even remotely close to suitable for black skin, and I just had to call it out. It is not funny that we still have to circle around discussions like diversity in
BIG 2026.
You either make products for all skin types, or you don’t bother at all. Yes, I said what I said.
Okayyy, now that I’ve gotten the frustration out, let’s talk about something that actually brought me joy.
Yesss, I tried the famous fruit pastries from La Brioche Moseley, everyone and their mums keep talking about. The packaging was a 10, the presentation…… oh my gosh. Stunning.
Some of the pastries did not meet my expectations, but the others... chef’s kiss. I also almost lost my teeth because I wanted to pronounce “caramelized” on camera. Overall, it was a good experience
Moving on to more interesting things.
It has recently come to my attention that some of you girlies don’t know how to carve your brows and do your lashes for makeup. I see you, and I was you until I figured out the trick, so there is no judgment at all (maybe just a little bit).
I broke it down for beginners who are still struggling to start. Check out the tutorials I made specially for you on my page @spellmxo on TikTok and Instagram.
Now that we have covered the outer glow, let’s talk about the inner glow
I realized that some of you do not know how special the period when Muslims break their fasts during Ramadan is, so I took you guys along with me to show you the real, not the aesthetic version of breaking one’s fast. Funny enough, I had to break my fast in the car even after speed running my makeup.
The quiet moment of gratitude and prayers before eating, reflections on how the day’s fast has been, and seeking forgiveness. These are the things that make breaking my fast as a Muslim super special, and I’m glad I got to share it with you.
As a special treat, I have an exclusive beauty tip for you:
If you want that snatched look, always do your eyeliner before your concealer (don’t let anybody know I told you).
The code sentence for this week is Baby Sis, Pray! (Make sure you remember it!)
Also, if you’re not part of our community on Instagram- @spellmxo to activate your scholarship
Okay, my girlies, one question for you:
What is the one makeup step you still struggle with? Let’s talk.
Love,
Your Online Big Sister,
Mxo

I struggle with finding anything at all, I don’t know the basics. My friends have tried to teach me common lip combos and I can’t even do that properly talk less of actual makeup😭
💕
I actually struggle with finding the right shade and actually trying bold colours
Tried it once though for an eye look , I loved it but I didn't attempt it again
